Gagosian Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of new paintings by Cy Twombly as the inaugural show for the new gallery in Britannia Street, London. The exhibition is comprised of ten paintings, all completed in 2004, and 'Victory', a sculpture from 1987.
Larry Gagosian said: "I am delighted to open a new gallery on Britannia Street in London. I am especially honoured that Cy Twombly has agreed to inaugurate it with an exhibition of new paintings and a sculpture.'
The gallery which will be one of the largest new exhibition spaces in London, is situated in Britannia Street, off Gray's Inn Road between the British Museum and King's Cross.
