Alberto Di Fabio

on view beginning October 8, 2009
To start the new season, Roman gallery, Edicola Notte lights up it's window at Vicolo Del Cinque with a wall painting by Alberto Di Fabio titled "Paricella di Dio" (God's Particle).
Alberto Di Fabio's art is based on "nature." In this particular work, a blinding yellow colour covers the walls of the gallery, depicting the closeness of man and his divine side. "Particella di Dio" dazzles the sight, touching the neuralgic point of feeling . A neuronal score that reminds the viewer of tree branches joins together two sides of the biological - microcosm and macrocosm, cells and the universe.
Di Fabio's black branches cover the yellow walls with great fervor and explosive colour. His continuing fascination with science and it's relationship to art inspires Di Fabio to use patterns that resemble a spread of the brain. But in this new work, the walls allow the artist to go beyond the confines of a piece of paper and really explore the notion of a universe created by God's particle.
Alberto Di Fabio has exhibited worldwide in many Italian and foreign galleries such as Gagosian Gallery, New York and Beverly Hills.
