About

Mark di Suvero's most recent work, Inner Sculpture for Euler, was installed at Gagosian Gallery in SoHo and has been viewed by visitors since its opening on May 3, 1997. This presentation has been extended and will continue through June 21.

Inner Sculpture for Euler, like many of his other sculptures, embraces the possibilities for change and alteration. Many of di Suvero's works move in space, rotate on a point or rock back and forth. Di Suvero will alter this sculpture by the addition of new stainless steel and rubber elements. These alterations to the sculpture are so significant that the exhibition has been extended to provide ample viewing of this new work. Still entitled Inner Sculpture for Euler, the exhibition will open on June 27 and continue through Friday, August 1.
