Gagosian Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of Andy Warhol's Diamond Dust Shadow paintings. The Shadows are regarded as some of the most beautiful and enigmatic of Warhol's abstract works. This exhibition marks the first time that the Diamond Dust series will be presented together. Completed circa 1979, this series was painted shortly after the Shadow Paintings that are in the collection of the Dia Art Foundation.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue, which includes an essay by Rosalind E. Krauss.
