Gagosian Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of new paintings and sculpture by Anselm Kiefer, which will open March 18 and run through April 15, 2000 at the gallery's new exhibition space in Chelsea.
The exhibition includes paintings and two lead bookcase sculptures that are part of a body of work which the artist has been working on for the last several years.
Other works related to this series were exhibited at the Galleria D'Arte Moderna in Bologna in 1999. This exhibition, entitled Stella Cadente, is on view until April 24, 2000 at the Stedelijk Museum for Contemporary Art in Gent, Belgium.
