The 'Big Wheel'
L.A. artist Chris Burden's 1979 kinetic sculpture The Big Wheel makes a dramatic returne; in MOCA's First 30 Years exhibit opening Nov. 15, 2009. Powered with a 250 cc Benelli motorcycle, whose rear wheel drives a 6,000-pound metal flywheel, the piece is one of Burden's best known.
